YSF Academy is a training centre in Birmingham, UK, offering SIA-approved security courses, including Door Supervisor, Door Supervisor refresher, and CCTV Operator, along with workplace first aid training.

We built the website and its booking system: course listings, course pages, and an online checkout that lets students reserve a place with a deposit.

The challenge

Business challenge

Students choosing a security course want to know the price, the deposit, and what is included before they commit. The centre needed a site that answers those questions and lets students book a place there and then.

The site also had to build trust with first-time students, with clear course details, information about the training centre, and genuine reviews.

The solution

What we built

We built the site on Ruby on Rails with a booking flow at its centre. Each course shows its price, deposit, and what is included, with a booking button that goes straight to checkout.

Supporting content answers common questions before they are asked: an FAQ on licences, ID, and resits, a section on the training centre and its facilities, student reviews, and a WhatsApp link for quick questions.
