Overview

Project overview

TrackHabit helps people build routines and stay consistent across fitness, learning, mindfulness, sleep, focus, and self-improvement. Users can describe a goal in plain language and get a structured schedule, or set up goals, activities, reminders, and repeat rules themselves.

We built the iOS app end to end: both onboarding paths, the daily dashboard, trackers, reports, push notifications, and the subscription layer.

The challenge

Business challenge

Most people don't fail for lack of goals. They struggle to turn intentions like “get fit” or “read more” into a realistic routine. Choosing activities, schedules, reminder times, and difficulty up front adds friction before a single habit is logged.

Once set up, users also need reasons to come back: streaks, timely reminders, milestones, and visible progress. On the business side, free and Pro usage had to be enforced cleanly without getting in the way.

The solution

What we built

We designed two onboarding paths. In the AI path, users describe a goal, answer a few clarifying questions, and receive a plan with recommended activities and recurrence rules. In the manual path, they build goals step by step with their own icons, colours, reminders, and repeat schedules.

Once a goal is active, the dashboard becomes the daily home: today's activities, active goals, progress rings, a weekly calendar strip, and quick logging. The app runs on React Native and Expo, with Firebase for accounts and sync, RevenueCat and Superwall for subscriptions and paywalls, AppsFlyer for attribution, and EAS for builds and releases.
